SPIEF program and motto approved

The Organizing Committee of the 20th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) has approved highlights of the business program and the motto, which is Capitalizing on the New Global Economic Reality. The discussion of the forum set for June 16-18, 2016 will embrace five key topics that are as follows:

• Stimulating Demand, Seeking Growth
• Realizing the Economic Potential of Russia
• The New Geo-economic Dynamics
• Navigating Revolutions in Technology
• The Human Dimension

The SPIEF program is showing up a SCO Business Forum and a G20 Business Forum. Within the scope of the 20th SPIEF, the tradition will continue of holding the Global Energy Awards Ceremony and the Energy Summit. A special session of the Valdai Club and events of the Conversations with the Extraordinary cycle are also on the schedule. For the first time, on the sidelines of the SPIEF, the first Conference for the Sustainable Development of the Arctic will be held.
