Capital of Kazakhstan to Welcome Next Astana Economic Forum

The seventh economic forum will take place in Astana under the auspices of the UN General Assembly on May 21-23, 2014.

The event program this year includes about 70 points. It had been developed in close cooperation with about 100 forum co-organizers, including the International Monetary Fund, UNCTAD, the International Organization for Migration, the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee, the ECO, the OSCE, the Club of Madrid, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Nobel Foundation International, the International Trade Centre, the World Energy Council, and the World Customs Organization.

The program of the forum also includes the II World Anti-Crisis Conference. The event will see ministers from different countries engage in discussions on ways to restore balanced economic growth to the global economy.

The main outcome of the Astana Economic Forum and the World Anti-Crisis Conference should be the adoption of the Draft Concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan.
