The fourth Smart City of the Future international exhibition and forum, organized by the Rossiya Segodnya media group, is going off in Moscow on November 17−18, 2015.

On June 8–9, 2015 in the capital of Finland — Helsinki — will host the first young leaders Euro-BRICS Summit. The event will bring together youth delegations from the EU, Brazil, China, India, South Africa, Russia and the candidate countries for accession to the EU and partner countries. In addition to youth leaders, diplomatic session will be attended by members of parliament and ministries of Europe and BRICS.

The 5th International Chemical Forum Bolshaya Khimiya will traditionally be held in Ufa (Bashkortostan, Russia Federation) on May, 21–22, 2015. The Forum has already become a brand identity of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the principal industrial plot for creating a constructive dialogue between power, business and scientific society in the field of petrochemical industry.

An international conference under the rubric “Youth’s outlook on future cooperation and interaction between the BRICS countries” is scheduled to take place in Moscow on 31 October. The event is organised by the National BRICS Research Committee and the BRICS Youth Expert Society (“BRICS YES!”).

Russo-Japanese Forum entitled “Common Ground: business, investment, culture” will be held in Moscow World Trade Center on September 8–10, 2014. This is the second time the event will be held: in February 2013 two countries met each other in Tokyo. The initiators and organizers are two influential print publications, Rossiyskaya Gazeta (Russia) and Mainichi Shimbun (Japan).

The International conference “The Triple Helix and innovation-based economic growth: new frontiers and solutions” will be held on September 11–13, 2014 in Tomsk, Russia. This is the 12th conference in the sequence of Triple Helix Conferences that are held annually in the major cities around the world. It is the first time the event takes place in Russia.

The investment forum Far East 2014 will be held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on September 4–5, 2014. The event will be the largest meeting opportunity for investors from North-East Asia, Europe, and the Far East of Russia.

The capital of the 2014 Olympic Games will once again bring the world community together on September 18–21. This time, Sochi will welcome business leaders and government officials from different countries to the International Investment Forum.

June 7 marked the end of Kazansummit, the main business forum of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Islamic world, in the capital of Tatarstan. As part of the 3-day event, experts from different countries discussed the most important and relevant issues of international cooperation.

The next conference dedicated to fostering greater cooperation between Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will be hosted by the People’s Friendship University of Russia on 27 May.

The seventh economic forum will take place in Astana under the auspices of the UN General Assembly on May 21–23, 2014.
